Secret Shadows: Prologue

So I started writing a book last year called Secret Shadows about this girl named Arabella. This is the prologue.

Synopsis: Arabella is a successful Italian-American public relations agent, that has great friends and a twisted if not reasonable idea about how life should be celebrated and death should be avoided. But things start to change after someone close to her dies and their supposed killer comes after Arabella chasing her into a rundown bookstore where she meets two unlikely characters. But despite appearances there is something deeper and darker that is going on in the shadows: something that leads back to her late mother's locket of the Tree of Life. Arabella will be forced to uncover secrets and face her destiny head on in this supernatural tale of love, death, and discovering who you are.
